Personally, just put it on hand tight. It would be a PITA to get a wrench out every single time you want to put on a suppressor. Plus there isn't a torque value to screw on a suppressor, so why a thread protector? </div></div>Cool. Wasn't planning on shooting the gun without the suppressor much, so I was looking for a semi permanent mount. I wouldn't want to risk having one of the two threaded components (the adapter or the can) loosen up on me. I will use a wrench but I won't go nuts.
