IS IT JUST ME? I own a Sig red dot and a Vortex red dot. When I make adjustments on elevation or windage I feel the click - they are very distinct. I just purchased a Holosun 509T GR 2X and when I make adjustments I can hardly feel the click it's like I'm guessing if it actually clicked. BTW this is the second one I have tried. Unless I'm very unlucky - maybe it's just the way a Holosun works?

ON the Sig and Vortex it takes very little effort for a click to occur while on the Holosun it has to be "turned" with a bit of effort. So is it just me not being used to a Holosun. Thanks crl

Both of mine have clicks, not hard clicks but tactile enough, one of my vortex I cannot feel or hear the click. Who knows, they all move as they should and hold zero.

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and CCP companies like holoson and swampfox don't deliver. Stick to Aimpoint (Sweden), Trijicon (USA), Elcan (Kanadian), Eotech (USA), Shield Sights (Britain). Sig is an American company and they assemble a few models of their optics here.

Anything that clicks is an upgrade from the early J-Point, Burris, Leupold Deltapoint days. A nice click is nice, but since for the most part you set once and forget it, it is not a big deal to me as long as it holds zero.

The models that don’t have tactile/audible clicks generally come with a dial that goes around the adjustment tool.

Here is the one that comes in a Hellcat RDP w/Shield SMSC:
