Red Dot Question

Is there any red dot sights out there that have the reticle choices of EOtech but the battery life of Aimpoint?

I really like how well the larger circle of the EOtech centers up when transitioning between targets but really don't like baby sitting the battery life. I was going to go with a Micro T-1(and still might) but I wish Aimpoint had some reticle options besides the dot.

There is always a trade off.

I started with the circle dot a long time ago and just stuck with it. I like the 1MOA center dot. Everything should be regularly inspected so put batteries on your list. Carry some backups JIC.

Once you've conditioned yourself you'll turn it on as you pick it up without even thinking about it and shut it off when you're done.

Use it for what it is, red dots are good out to 300 on badguy sized targets. If you want precision shooting optics, go with a 1-4 or 1-6 power scope. You aren't going to get a Nightforce reticle in a red dot sight. Thats not what the RDS is designed for.
