im looking into a .338 edge but not many companys make a .338/.300 die. i know redding does, but i have a lee press. just wondering if different dies will work in different presses?
All dies will work on various presses, as long as the thread pitch is the same.
Think of it as anything else, like gas its all the same just differnt makes. Its all a matter brand names. some are better than others. Or personal preferance.
Now days, most common dies are threaded 7/8-14,as are most presses.50 BMG dies are bigger, and Lyman use to make some dies with a smaller diameter. There may be a few others that are different, but I can't think of them now.Redding dies should work just fine in your press. Pete
