Anyone use one of these to measure loaded rounds or case length, and is it worth the money?
Thanks

Calipers are a good choice for measuring case length. Try mitituyo
Is it time consuming to change the setup from the HS to bullet depth measurements?

I ordered a second one to speed up my loading process. One after shoulder bump and one after seating to check length to ogive. It works really well on a T-7!
I understand. It was an impulse buy. Once I thought more about it I realized I just needed to know the indicator value for both measurements. Late night shopping online did me in on this one.
So it doesnt need to be disassembled to change between checking bullet depth and shoulder bump measurements? I'm asking because I can visualize how they operate internally. Not sure what you mean by HS. But if you are talking about shoulder length and seating depth, you actually don't need to make any adjustments at all, depending on the caliber. For 223, you need to remove the bushing out of the sleeve. For 308, 338, 300wm, and other calibers that are of similar length, both shoulder and seating depth can be measured with the bushing in the sleeve.

I just bought one and love it! Seems to give a much more finite and repeatable measurement than any other measuring methods I've used in the past. One question: Can one indicator be bought, and other calibers be measured by swapping out the internals? Just trying to save money.....
