Just got the redding comp set in .308. Need to full length resize some cases but the FL sizer does not have a depriming pin. The decap assy is on the neck sizer only.

Hoping I dont have to FL size all cases then run them through the neck sizer to deprime.

Loading for 3 different 308 guns, though I could just neck size to save my brass. But I cant seem to keep the case segregated for each gun, so I think I will have to FL resize all cases to make them work in all guns. Anybody have a better system?

Re: Redding Neck Sizing Die

Why not just get a depriming die, I got a Lyman one for $10 or so and alway deprime my brass, run it thought the cleaner then I neck size or FL size depending on what gun it's going to be used in.

Thats what I have been doing with my RCBS dies. Looking at the level of precision in the redding dies was trying to find a way to use them.

Ok, I see. Loading for three diferent gun you most likely will have to use a FL sizing die due to differences in the chambers just to be safe. Either that or separate the brass for each gun and load them separate?
