I just bought my first bushing die. It's a redding type s bushing fl sizing die. I bought it from ebay because I couldn't find one anywhere else. When I disassembled it I noticed that the lock nut is only .186 in thick. A lot less thicker than the one shown in the quick start guide. Did I get screwed or am I missing something? Thanks.

Just a quick note if you've never used these before ...

IF you don't use the decapping/expander (like I don't) and remove it, insert the proper bushing, AND the lock ring (minus the pin) for proper use.

It looks just fine. I use an expander, and remove the stem entirely. I insert the bushing with the locking ring on top, then seat the adjuster on top with just a little wiggle room (1/16th turn) for the bushing to be able to move.
