I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Redfield Battlezone Tac 22 rimfire scope? I'm thinking about trying one on my older 10/22T that I have had scopeless for a while. Redfiled is owned by Leupold and this scope is made in the Phillipines. It's just for plinking out to 100 yrds. Is this a quality scope for the price? You can get a $45.00 rebate until 12/31/13.

Yep. I think .22 scopes need adjustable parallax down to 10 yards. Don't care if it is side focus or AO.

Edit: I recently picked up a Bushnell AR.22, but haven't got it mounted yet. There is a good review on it here: Bushnell AR Optics 2-7x32mm AR/22 Scope Review

It has a protruding gas port plug on the bottom that might be problematic if mounting on a rail, but I'm using a 2-piece mount.

I've been looking at that Bushnell scope for my 1022. What's your impression of it?

Pretty good so far. Acceptable glass, clicks a little mushy, but tracks good. Good exit pupil and eye relief. Actual lowest parallax setting is more like 15 yards than 10 and thus the yard numbers are a bit off on the parallax knob as well. For the price, I'm happy with it. The local squirrels don't like it quite as much as I do.
