Hello all,

I am in the process of picking out a new can- I will move the can from rifle to rifle, and I am wondering what the best mounting option will be....
a reflex or one that simply mounts on the flash hider- the can will be a surefire.

Thank you!

Jordan,

Both our reflex suppressors and end mount suppressors mount to one of our QD adaptors. What caliber can are you looking at getting because the 5.56 and 6.8 reflex cans are going away.

Chuck,

I was looking at one of your 6.8 cans for a 6.5 creedmore, 6.8 spc, and 223.

If your reflex cans are going away, I might be better off getting the flash hider mounts...

However, are the reflex mounts more secure?

Thanks!

Re: reflex or flash hider mounting?

I had heard the reflex designs were going to be phased out and I'm sorry to see it happen. The reflex designs tend to have less back pressure. Don't get me wrong; the other designs are nice too. I just am partial to the reflex design for most applications.

Mark,

do you find the reflex mounts to be more stable/repeatable, or is it the backpressure that make the reflex design more desirable?

thanks!

Re: reflex or flash hider mounting?

The SF mounts are pretty solid either way. I just prefer that the reflex designs typically lower back pressure.

The SF stuff is good to go either way. If a company was phasing out a product (as in this case) but I liked the product, I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up. However, I'd be inclined to snag up a couple extra mounts for possible future use just in case.
