I am currently shooting with a stock Rem 700 vsf .308. I have been reloading with RL15 and 175smk with good results and I am about to venture to RL17. Will this combo work??? What is a good charge to start at??? What is your cartridge setup if you do use it???

The people I spoke to when I wanted to do the same all said the same thing, much better velocity with RL17 but the accuracy wasnt there. If you have a good load with RL15, stick with it and dont waste money and barrel life devloping a new load. I for one fucking hate loade development, when I find a load that works, the only thing that can get me to do more load development is if the old one stops shooting good.
