Hi. I have been reloading hand gun ammo snice I was a kid but I am new to reloading rifle rounds.
I have most of the equipment to reload rifle rounds for quality loads like a signal press, scale, powered trickler, powered measure, calipers to measure to make sure every thing is in spec, i am waiting for a set of dies come. I am looking for some helpful info and data on reloading 22-250. I'm shooting a Remington model 700 adl in of corse 22-250 I have only fired factory ammo and would like to develop loads for it. I would like to develop to loads for it. a load for coyote's with a lead projectile and one for medium sized game like deer and antelope with a lead free projectile. Like i said I am new to reloading rife rounds and looking for help with what i should use for powered and projectiles. and I understand I any info I get might not work the best in my rifle

I think you want the reloading depot forum: https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/forums/sniper-s-hide-reloading-depot/
Then search for 22-250 within that forum:

You should find many similar threads there to peruse.

You know what the twist rate is on that 700? Is it 1-12 or 1-14? That will impact the bullets you can use. Probably not going get much over 55gr with a 1-14, and there are even some bullets lighter than that (like the 53 v-max) that need at least 1-12 to stabilize.
H4895 and CFE 223 are good powders for the 250. I have a 1-12 Savage that I shoot the 53 v-max on top of 35.6gr of H4895 (which is a hot load).

Been using RL-15, WLR primers and 50 gr V-max for about 25 years now. Yeah, RL-15 is a little dirty and maybe a little temperature sensitive but I did a LOT of load testing and it was most accurate if not the absolute fastest. Getting 3600 fps out of a 23" barreled walking varminter, a real handy rifle.
