The stickies at the top of this thread have a wealth of information in them covering much of this.
Given the calibers I'm guessing you're not shooting 'spray and pray' style so a single stage press would likely do well for you. If you buy a kit there will be additional parts (let alone components) you will need to buy in order to make your first round - so be prepared to spend a couple hundred over the kit price.
As far as brands you will find people in every camp - Forster, Dillon, Hornady, RCBS, Lee etc. In my personal opinion, starting out I would not be afraid to try a 'cheaper' priced single stage - it will still produce high quality ammo if you are used to shooting factory stuff.
