Has anybody tried using IMR 4350 or RL 17?
My go to powder is H4350 with Hornady 105 AMAX but that's becoming impossible to find, just looking for an alternate powder that will give similar results.

Well went out and shot some 5 shot groups with IMR4350 and this is the best I could get. Gonna work around this load in .3 increments and see what happens

This is what H4350 gives me to bad its impossible to find.

I'm using imr 4350, I like imr 4831 better with the 108 grain Berger's.

I'm working on a R-17 load right now. Trying 39.2 gr with the 105 Hybrid. Getting about 1/2 MOA. My next outing will test different seating depths. Velocity is about 3140. Rifle is a trued 700 with Bartlein 25" barrel.

Looking at accurate shooter.com and talking with some folks seems like RL-17 just gives you more MV. Seems like my rifle likes the 2950 fps area.The competition rules limit us to 3100 fps. I'm going to try and get my hands on some 4831SC and test that out with some 108 bergers. I'll try and post some results in the future.

I tried 4831SC with Sierra 107's in a 30 inch tube, and the results were bad. Wasted 100 rounds trying to get it to group. Just didn't work.
