Reloading dies

Re: Reloading dies

You CAN make match grade ammo on the cheapest set of dies. There is a lot more work involved and they may not all be as repeatable if you spin them. I was making "match" ammo in the mid 1970s with standard RCBS dies. IT IS POSSIBLE.

However ... Redding full length sizers (I prefer the "S" type w/ bushing) and Redding Comp seater will make it a LOT easier and faster to get it done.

While some will argue that the L.E.Wilson straight line dies that are used with an arbor press are better, I cannot argue that they may be a small bit better. But they are also a whole lot slower.

Good luck.

Re: Reloading dies

Cant go wrong with Redding dies or Forster dies.

I prefer Forster, as the price is a little bit better and i prefer to FL size and not neck size only, so its easy to just buy a Forster Ultra Seater set with FL die.
