Reloading flake powder for 9mm

I realize this is a precision rifle site but I want to know if Im going to have problems using HP38 flake powder in my
chargemaster 1500.
This is my first attempt at reloading pistol cartridges and noticed that the HP38 is a flake powder. It seems like it
will very difficult to clean the hopper or have variances in powder charges.
Any help with loading this cartridge will greatly be appreciated.

Use a volumetric powder measure.

As BigZ says...use a measure. Accuracy demands on 9mm are such an order of importance less than precision rifle that a measure is all you need.

I agree with the above posters - get something cheap like a Lee Perfect Powder Measure for $25, calibrate it to your target weight, and check every 50th round or so to ensure you're still accurate for the first batch of rounds. Much faster, and plenty accurate.

lee is a good choice, have to say my harrel was for shit for low volume flake loads
