Reloading help

I'm trying to work up a load for my Savage Edge 30-06. I am debating Berger 168 gr VLD vs. 180 gr Elite Hunter, does anyone have any experience with the two? or With loading the Edge (I believe they got sued and had to change the name to axis)? Loading for deer and Elk at reasonable hunting distances but also would like to stretch it out on the range. Thanks for the help.
