rem 700 308 190 grain smk loads

Any one have any very accurate 190grain smk loads? I have a rem 700 with a 1 in 11.25 twist barrel. looking for great accuracy to about 600 yards. i dont need barrel burner loads just fast enough to reach between 300 and 600 yards. thanks for any advice or loads that your using that work. thanks again

Try 48.8 grains of RL17 loaded to 2.87" OAL with a 190 SMK

That load yields me 1/2moa accuracy in my LaRue 18" OBR at 2540fps.
Most accurate load I have ever shot through it.

This is a compressed load. SD numbers in the single digits less than 7.

thanks, i looked at sierras book and found there 190 accuracy load that was 40.5 of imr 4064 with fed gmm primers, i shot it at 100 and 200 just to see what it would do as far as groups, at 100 it was ok at 200 it was shooting 3/4 inch which isnt bad for a given load! im gona fine tune it a little and let you know what i come up with

i ended up staying at 40.5 of imr 4064 and the gun shoots better every time i shoot it, it really likes that load when the bullet is .010 of the lands
