I have a newer rem 700 It has about 30 rounds down the tube.
My question is with the bold ever lossen up its easy to close with out a round in the camber. but when you chamber a round you have to put some presure on the bolt handle to close it.
Or are the all that way?

You might have one with headspace on the short end of acceptable.

If anything it should help accuracy.

After a few thousand rounds the back of your lugs will wear-in and it will close with less resistance. Or you could have the lugs lapped a bit.
