I have just purchused a REM 700 .308 and would like some opinion on witch scoop,rings,and mount would be best for 1000 yard shooting

In all seriousness....do you have access to a welder or somebody who can help you with welding? Taking a gun like that to 1000yds is going to require welded scope mounts....
an alternative would be to bed the action and scope rings with JB weld until you can send it out to a smith for welding.

Which Remington 700 did you buy? Any aftermarket upgrades yet?
What kind of training do you have?
If you're shooting for 1000 yards, why did you choose .308?
