opportunity to buy a 700 aac tact with some badger ord. mounts - he wanted 700, he is offering 650. considering current market, fair deal?

its never been shot. -worth it?

ive only begun scratching at the surface of a 1000 yard gun and in my limited understanding i was thinking id like to get about a 22" barrel.

should i hold off or wll the 20" in this AAC going to be fine?

im currently shooting about 1 1/2"-2" groups at 300 yds from a stock sako fin bear deer rifle with a sport barrel + leupold 3x9. not sure length. at least 22 id say.

id research it myself but don't want this to pass by if its a good deal.

My first 1000yd ring was with a SPS Tactical, non-AACSD model, and I paid around $600 for it brand new.

Short term, if you want it, get it, it will work, and you will enjoy it.

I figured it would suffice, but i was wondering about the price.

When i have time tonight ill browse online and see what the going rate is, but i thought you guys would have a real time understanding of availability and price.

i mean, the only thing it comes with are the badger mounts. heck for 650, i might be able to get one off the shelf. -or not.

That's a decent price, considering that it comes with Badger mounts.

Look at it this way: a new Rem 700 AAC-SD will run around $700, so you're essentially buying the rifle for full price and getting the Badger mounts for free.
