HI
I am considering getting a dbm for my m24. It currently has a badger M4 floor plate.

This is my question, It is a long action .308 if i get the badger M24 dbm that uses short action .308 mags i will have to bed it in because the badger in let is deeper and wider. Has any body used a badger m5 La with .300 win mags and tweaked them to fit .308?

Would it be wiser to get a dbm with a badger inlet and then just finish the rest of the inlet in my stock? If so does any one know if the M4 would fit back in with out issues if i switched it back at a later date?

I was considering a ptg because of the price and because i have never used a dbm before and am not sure if i will like it all though i have a pretty good feeling i will. It is used mostly for the range and the dbm will just provide and ease of loading it.

I thought i would run this by the vast number of experienced members on here before i spent the cash.
Thanks for any help.
