I am very new to bolt actions and have primarily shot AK style rifles all my life. So I am getting the Varmint SF for both customazebility stand point and quality. for both hunting and range... maybe some compotition,
With it I think I am going to go with viper PST 6-24x50 my questions are the following:
1. which base should I go with.. price point preferably under $60@9 aluminum I guess
2. Which set of rings should I go with to allow 100 yard zero without bottoming out.
3. also your thoughts on the over all setup,
I know the stock isn't as quality on this model, but I will upgrade it down the road. really like the aics features and the look, just not all at once....
