Rem 700 XCR Tactical Long Range contour?

Re: Rem 700 XCR Tactical Long Range contour?

Its the Varmint/Sendero Contour. I can put a Mic on mine in a bit and repost but I am thinking its like .830" or somewhere in that area.

+1, I think it is .820, but what difference does .010 make here? None.

Guy beside me at the range this weekend was shooting some match loads in his 308 XCR and it was shooting reasonably decent.

you might want to keep an eye on the barrel on that.
i have a 700 XCR in 300RUM when i used some 240GR SMKs in it thay unscrewed the barrel(and no the barrel had never been removed before) also the stock on mine used fore end pressure to give the stocks fore end its strenght.

LOL this is just about every Rem out there. They have 2 pressure pads on the front of the barrel channel on almost every hunting rifle they send out.

My XCR LR shoots lights out and does it every time. Trigger was nice from the factory. Never fired it in the B&C stock though. It went from the Rem box right into an AICS then into a McM A5 right off the bat.
