well i am considering turning my old 788 243 into a bench gun. my plans are to trade out the factory stock to something designed for for the bench and trade out the barrel to a hevay barrel somewhere in the 20" to 22" range. i cant find either of these anywhere. where do i look???????im looking for a synthetic stock like a mcm a-5 type grip. ive held one and the design fits my hand so good. i have had no luck at all. i would buy a used one if in good shape. thanks guys

McMillan or Manners will inlet their stocks for this action. I did a A1-3 on my 788 Lefty.

Yes McMillan will inlet for the action. They are making me a HTG for my 788 as I type this. Manners will not currently do one in 788 due to their current work load.
