I just bought the above rifle in mint condition, my only gripe is the trigger is 4.5 pounds, Can anyone recomend a good smith to work over the trigger, or can I buy a replacement target trigger for it??????

You can have a gunsmith fit a Rem. 788 Timney trigger, The bolt stop and the safety are the main hangups which they can take care of...or you can just change the spring
