what ammo can i use im looking for a soft or a hollow point 308 round that will fire nicely from my rifle do lots of damage and has some decent brass on it

For hollow point you can use

HSM 175 HPBT
FGMM 175 HPBT


and many other match grade rounds that will be very accurate if you do your part.

What targets are you going to be engaging?

I like a solid hitting hollow point for hunting cause on one day i can end up shooting bore goats, deer, elk, kangaroos, pigs, and wild dorpa's, donkeys and Mickey Bulls

Hornady SST ammo will do the job. Also, Black hills makes hunting ammo.
