I have a remington 700 30-06. i found a custom 338/378 KT Barrel will the 30-06 action and bolt work for the 338/378?

You could have the boltface opened up enough for the 378 case but that action is not designed to handle the pressures generated by a 338/378. I would be scared to pull the trigger.
