I have a .308 5R SA with the HS Precision BDL stock that I just can't get to fit right. A guy I know has a 700 SA ADL with a varmint profile barrel also in .308. He's interested in buying it but we're not sure if my stock will fit his rifle. Without actually test fitting it, does anyone know if this is a valid option for him? I think it is but I'm not sure.

The stock should fit, the only thing is the ADL does not have bottom metal. He will have to purchase a BDL conversion kit, or a take-off short action bottom metal and action screws. Bottom metal pops up in the sale section here on the hide. The action screws can be had on the bay for $12 or so.
