Found a Remington 700 AAC-SD at a local shop today and decided to take it home. The Hogue stock needed to go so I called JP who happens to be local to me and picked up their chassis system. Initial impressions of the chassis, it's sweet.

Next up is the glass and a few other accessories. I checked out a Nightforce, Mk4, and a Zeiss today; not sure which direction I'll go.

Here's a couple quick and dirty picks of the rifle / chassis.

Looks really nice, I've been considering JP's chassis for when I get ready to retire my B&C. The hand guard looks longer than I expected around the 20" barrel but not in a negative way to me. Keep us posted please I'd be really interested in handling impressions.

I opted for their longest forearm but it's the same VTAC forearm system they offer for the M4/AR platform so it comes in a variety of lengths.

It doesn't come with any however you can add them. 12 and 6 have threaded holes for mounting rails and the slots allow you to position rails in a number of places. It's just like the VTAC stuff they make for the AR platform.

That's a sweet little rig and good looking. Can't beat a bolt together package like that for the money. Nice optic by the way, I love mine.
