My search-fu seems to be weak today. Does anybody know where to find a scout style scope mount for a Remington 700 action?

I have one of those at home. I tried the Scout concept and was not wild about it. You can use a variable conventional scope and still keep both eyes open and you are not limited to the low magnification of the scout scope.
Having said that, I will see if I can find my mount. I am not using it so you are welcome to it if I can run it down. Give me until tomorrow before you order one. If I find it, I will send you a PM and get your addy and have it on its way.

I purchase one of those from brownells. Didn't fit very well out of the box. I plan to use it on a Long Action 700.
Haven't had time to machine the base for a better fit. Still like the concept of a scout scope, but am turned off at the poor scope mounting options.
