There are a couple SPSs out there - which one you looking at? Remington has a lot of details on their sight.

The 26" is .830. I tested a PWS, YHM, JP Cooley, and Precision Armament's M11. The M11 really shined, and took a lot of recoil away, most actually. It also had the least affect on POI on my gun. They are a fairly new Co. and prices are great. Here's a cpl pics.
I love the timing system they sale as well, super easy to get the brake right where you want it.
