Remington 700 SPS Tactical 223

Hello I finally registered after sitting back and looking around for several months. Im still amazed at some of the rifles you all have built on this site.

My question is if anyone has a 223 sps tactical rifle and has shot it over a chrony what was the average velocity with 55 grain bullets. i understand that all rifles vary and hand loads will also but just want an idea.

3200fps in my sps tac, with imr 4198

I am getting about 3150fps in mine using Varget. I am still refining my loads but they willl be in that neighborhood.

thanks guys i already have an ltr stock to put it in so think it will work
