Good day,

I recently purchased this rifle and now I am looking at reloading myself. Could I ask that if there are some members with this specific model (or another model with similar specs) could you provide me with some reloading data to use as a base starting point. This includes what brass, bullets, reloading equipment, powder, powder loads, overall length and case lengths you are using. Some general tips and tricks for a new reloader like myself would also be appreciated.

Thank you very much.

First thing is your rifle to be for hunting or a long range tack driver. If its the latter I would suggest you replace your hoag over mold stock. You will just wast ammo trying to work up an accurate load with out a good after market stock. Think about a good trigger and optics. Bell and Carlson medilist good stocks for the money. Timney 210 triggers. And Hart attack money for optics. My police 700 in 308 out of the box shot 3/8 in and will shoot better today if I’m capable. But that was in 1994 and came with a HS precision stock. Not these days I just purchased a 700 aac-sd in 6.5 Creedmoor and can’t get better than a little over half in with every thing I mentioned and two months of load development. Been on SH all morning talking to fellas who know alot more than me trying to figure out how to shrink my groups. My 308 loves IMR 4064 with 168 gr smks Start low and work up about .4 or.5 grs until you get good groups Good luck

Redding t7 press or rock chucker by rcbs. Redding dies pricey but worth it Hope this helps and haven’t discorged you. I love reloading. Been my therapy for over 50 years
