Does anyone know the factory twist rate on a Rem 700 SPS varmint 22-250 26" barrel? I thought it was 1:14 which seems to be the common answer but kept running into a few people who thought it was 1:12 so I thought I would bring it here.

If you buy it new today then it will have a 1-14 twist.

You didn't think that maybe, just maybe, the manufacturer's(that's Remington) website would have your answer?

That is what I figured. Now that I am doing some research on the history of the gun I figured out it is in fact not an SPS but was made in 1994 (SPS started in 2005) so now I am trying to figure out what the exact series of the 700 this is.
