Yes, you'll have to remove the 700 tennon then turn down and thread the shoulder area for the Savage tennon.

Not really worth it, unless you are doing the work yourself and or getting the barrels for close to free.

well i was looking at it as a project to start into gunsmithing
. and yes i am getting the barrels for next to nothing.
