Remington 725 in .244 value?

Anyone have any insight on this?
I've done the generic search for info.
Just curious if anyone had any actual hands on opinions.
Buddy of mine has one and hit me up about selling it.

That rifle and chamber name bring back some memories of a rifle my grandfather had. Can't help on price but know the 244 is finicky on the heavier 6mm pills.

I have 2 725s one in 280 and other unfired 30/06. Really they are unique but dont command a premium. If its in good shape i would approximate the value around 850-1100$. I will say the 244 is the rarest caliber in that gun.
