Has anybody ever seen one? I met a guy who said he has a Remington model 77 lever action 308 that his dad bought new in 1972 and that Remington made around 3500 of them. I have done research and can`t find nothing. I know Remington made a 76 lever action 22lr that looked like the model 66.

A Remington 77 is a semi-auto .22 nylon identical to the 66 except that it uses magazines rather than the tubular feed.

I'm going with the guy has his brand and numbers mixed up. There were only ever 3 lever actions in .308 Winchester that I know.

Sako, <span style="text-decoration: underline">Finnwolf</span> was made in .308.

For some reason I thought Marlin made a .308 in lever action as well. The only thing I could find on that was the 'new' .308 Marlin, which is different from the .308 Winchester.
