Gents,

I recently picked up a brand-new Remington 870 tactical Express – you know the one that has the breaching choke, the picatinny rail and ghost sight. It 6+ one. I am considering putting a small red dot top side on the top of the rail, probably nothing fancy like a Trijicon type of site but maybe a Burris Fastfire 3 or a Leopold Deltapoint..

I don't need an ultra fancy set here like a Trijicon SRS although I would live to have one that can just just get beat up. This will be a home I defense and track gun. Also, what do you guys reccomemd about push button lights. I already swapped the forearm for a Magpul and swapped the stock spring for a Wolff Spring. Any ideas on what kind of good shotgun light that works well and a red dot sight that doesn't cost more than the weapon. Oh, and I ordered a steel extractor from Brownells to get rid of the MIM one.

Thanks guys.

The delta point is what I use since it is home defense gun. Good viewing area and comes with the mount. It will go to slept so there is not on/ off switch to mess with or worry about. Sight the tip of the chevron in for slugs and use the whole chevron for buck shot.

also recommend the Blackhawk Knoxx stock. Reduces the recoil to the point that you can shot slugs one handed off your shoulder and not even feel it. Adds adjustability in the stock also.
