So I’m starting to use 185 bergers. I want to load them mag length. My ogive measurement using Hornady oal is 2.3605/to the lands. Does this seem like to much? With this much free I have to load 2.310 ogive to load into the mag (.050 jump) this is what I loaded them to to find my velocity node. Does this seem like to much lands play? I shoot factory 185s into the .7 off a rear bag and would like to use jugs for prs.

This is standard for Remington rifles. They are not concerned with reloaders. They assume that the brunt of their users are hunters that will run in and buy any brand of ammo off the shelf and expect it to shoot in their guns. Those are the guys who are happy with hiting a 4" kill zone at 75 yards, not precision shooters who load for accuracy.
I want more choices that either jumping .050" or having the boatail barely held by the case neck and having to feed single shot.
I have one rifle at the smith's now having the chamber cut correctly and two more to go after this one

People make too big off a deal over this. You don't have to be close to the lands to find accuracy. If it doesn't shoot and you can't make it longer, try making it shorter first. Plenty of guys find good loads jumping .05+.
