I have purchased a rem 700 BDL DBM in 7stw. i know that on a factory ADL/BDL the feed rails are part of the action, and on the DBM's, the feed rails are part of the magazine.
my question is about aftermarket stocks and bottom metal. if i buy, say a mcmillan, manners, etc, cut out for a Badger DBM would it work with with my DBM action with no feed rails?
in other words, are the aftermarket dbm systems designed to work with factory ADL/BDL actions, or do they require feed rail modification? it looks on their website like the magazines do not have feed rails. can anybody verify any of this?
