Any one know anything about this stuff? I have about 200 rounds. It is at least 20 years old.
Just wondering by its name how fast it really is?

Bolt action only? Looking for first hand experience.

Thanks.

Don't laugh, but I was paid good money for a half dozen very similar boxes, mostly full of old 7mm Remington Magnum brass. Local "antique" dealer says that stuff is hot.

They, Remington, also boxed their 22lr under the moniker "Hi-Speed"...

Werent no hi-speed to it......... just sayin...

Then there was "Super-Speed"...

How about a picture of a case base ?
And a pic of a 20 box of base up brass ?

See post #2.

So. I pulled a round. Bit weird....powder charge is very low. I did look at the head stamps in all the boxes. The initial box I looked at had all the same head stamp but there were a few different ones in some of the other boxes.

I will pull all the rounds and have at least some decent component.
The guy who loaded these has since passed away so take it easy....

I appreciate the research.

I've done the exact same thing with "inherited" reloads. More than once. There's a age one reaches where your friends widows ask for help cleaning out the garage.

Replace with a known powder and charge weight. Should be good practice ammo for sure.
