Remington M40 Rifle

I love the look of the M40 that was used and is being sold by Chuck Mawhinney on his website. I would love to buy one of his rifles, but I don't have $5,000 sitting around. I heard that Remington sold a commemorative USMC M40 a while ago, but I don't think they sell or make them anymore and they are hard to find used. Is there any way I could build one to look like the M40 that Chuck is selling?
