Hey guys,

I have a Remington Model 514 that is tapped for scope, but no mounts.

Anyone know a machinist that they trust that I could give information to, to have mounts made?

This .22 is wicked accurate, and I would like to see what I can do with it at a little longer than 100 yards. :)

My 514 is scoped. A local 'smith slapped some weaver bases on it. I have a cheap 3-9x40 on it and it is a blast to shoot at longer rangers. The single shot really slows things down and makes it quite the cathartic experience.

MidwayUSA says that the Weaver #12 and #16 bases will fit the 514. They are two screw bases and I believe this is what is on my rifle but can't verify it without taking off the rings.

I have a couple of boxes full of old .22 mounts. If you post a picture of your receiver showing the holes I will let you know if I have something that will fit. CTC hole spacing would be nice too.

Sorry for the slow response, here are some pictures. If you want or need clearer ones, let me know!

Perfect, thanks man! I appreciate it. Luckily, I have a gunsmith that was part of a Ducati club I am in, so he's pretty good at doing restoration type work. Might get a deal because we ride together.
