Just a quick question since I have been looking at the 2 but haven't found specs on either. Which is better, the Remington Sendero or the 5R? Caliber I'm looking at is .300WM. Also, where would you buy a 5R? I've been looking at tons of sights and haven't seen one.

Re: Remington model comparison

A place in ripon CA Barnwood arms, sells 5r models.I have seen them and i think they are very nice. Gunbroker has a few .300wm active right now. I have seen alot of people favor the pss in
.300WM also, i dont know if you have gave that any thought, It dosent have a stainless barrel though. Some times you can get them with a 40x trigger. I think the 5r or the pss would make a better target gun due to the heavier Stock. i believe the sendero models Have a stock with a standard forend and the other two have wider forends and palm swells. But you cant go wrong with any Rem 700.
Just my 2cents. Hope it helps.

I didn't know the .300wm was available in the PSS, that's definetly an option. I'm going to send Barnwood an email, I didn't see it listed on there site. I've seen some on gunbroker, but I prefer not to go through gunbroker.
