Rifle Scopes Remington Picatinny Rail

I just acquired a Remington 700 Sendero in 300 WM. Do I need a specific rail length or will a standard long action rail work for the magnum action?

+1 on standard Remington LA pattern.

I have a Badger Ordnance 20MOA LA rail on one of my 300WM Senderos and it is an excellent fit. If it fits your budget, I'd seriously consider the Badger.
