Bought one of these chambered in 257 weatherby. Just got it in and can't even get a dollar bill to even start to slide down the barrel. I havnt shot it yet (it may surprise me), but I atleast thought the barrel would be floated?

My recommendation would be to change the stock out from the get go. I don't care for the cheap Rem stocks. If you are not interested in doing that, shoot it, see how it performs. If it performs well, leave it alone, if not, I see a new stock in your future. Rem factory stocks are just cheap molded plastic. They are not worth trying to bed or open a barrel channel in my opinion.

Guess I'll keep the stock the way it is for now. Three shots under a dime at 100 aint so bad. Took me a few tries to come up with a load that would should under 2.5".

I loaded 3 round groups because I was just trying to see if I could find anything the gun would should well. I shot two types of factory ammo with 2" groups and had tried just about every other 257 bullet I had with no luck. These 100gr ttsx were a last ditch effort because I was about ready to send the gun back to Remington. I am going to increase the powder charge in .2gr increments and shoot some 5 whot groups because it seemed like the faster I pushed them, the smaller the groups got.

If the stock is like the SPS Varmint I have then all you need to do to free float it is remove the two small pads right at the end of the stock with a dremel...it still doesnt change the fact that the stock is flimsy ABS plastic though. I would put a Bell and Carlson A3 on it and not look back IMHO.

Yes the bell and carlson stock with a bedding block would help keep grouping consistant.
And would be worth the $.

How many (3) shot groups did you shoot that were small with the TSX's? The reason I ask is you don't want to settle with the stock/load if you only printed one group like the one in the picture you have posted.. Try the dremal clean-up as BoreSnake08 has suggested & spend some time at the range.
Have you adjusted or had the trigger adjusted?
Once you establish that the stock inadequacies have all been addressed you will then have a much better foundation to test load/rifle accuracy.
