what trigger for the remington 700 bears the closest feel to a factory winchester model 70 trigger? i.e. the thin trigger.

look at rifle basix for inexpensive triggers, they are nice and should serve you well

is that what the lever is called? the trigger shoe? or trigger blade? as for price of trigger, I can go $400. Actually considering a huber concepts.

My Shilen trigger has a thin shoe, and has worked without fail.....

Jewell triggers I think one of the best. Easy to install and adjust yourself. The trigger breaks clean and crisp. Hard to beat.

Or...take it out and tape up the housing to keep grit out of the box and thin the pad as much as you like. Then cold blue and go shoot. JMHO
