My firing pin retaining pin worked its way out and broke while shooting my Versamax. A common issue with this model as I’m finding out after my research.

I can’t find a replacement anywhere!! Any suggestions??

I called and got the part number sorted out and found one from gunrepaircenter.com

My previous conversations with them, they weren't manufacturing that part, thankfully they must have had a demand at some point in the past year. I ordered 2 for the headache.

@Ryan7839 somewhat surprised they didn't pay for it. Must have changed since the buyout/restructuring. Only had one 700 and they sent me a label to have the firearm shipped somewhere for repair on their dime. Good to know and glad you got it sorted.

Here are the parts I replaced on mine

Here are the Brownells part numbers:
301-000-048WB FIRING PIN, AFTER S/N M104801
301-000-075WB FIRING PIN SPRING
301-000-065WB LOCKING HEAD PIN
301-000-007WB HAMMER, GLOSS, AFTER S/N M104801
301-000-409WB HAMMER SPRING
301-000-070WB EXTRACTOR
301-000-056WB LINK
Is the locking head pin listed above the pin that started this thread? 🤓

Finally broke the extractor on one of my Versamax's

Hope the benelli parts I ordered from Brownells work.

A hole bunch of the parts are not available for the remington and Benelli. Wish remington would get their act together get past that lawsuit and open back up
