Remington XCR 338 Lapua??

Anyone have one and/or have experience with them? Little higher cost than the 700P 338, but it's 5 rounds, stainless, has a better looking brake, and is fluted.

Any thoughts? Found one around $1800.

Just go custom with Stiller??

I saw one at a place here in PA and it was going for $1995. Seemed like a nice factory rifle and good start into the 338LM playground, but I don't know anyone who has one.

A customer and shooting buddy of mine has one and we have shot it a bit now and it seems to be a pretty good shooter it shoots sub MOA with factory Hornady 250 gr. He hasn't started any load developement yet so I'm not sure how much it will improve over the factory stuff, but it should with good handloads.

Overall I'd say its a good value for someone wanting a 338 Lapua that isn't going to be a super high volume shooter. If your the type of shooter thats going to shoot multiple barrels out of the thing I'd recommend a larger dedicated 338 action.
