Night Vision Removing Wilcox FTS wobble

Does anyone have a suggestion for removing the wobble that is present in the Wilcox FTS mount? My UTM wont maintain zero due to what appears to be movement in hinge of the actual FTS mount, not the dovetail attachment point. I’ll probably just JB weld the mount shut so it can’t flip anymore. Or I’ll just have it actually welded together. What are your thoughts?

I have 4 of them. Two “wobble” — one just the slightest bit, another noticeably. The other two are rock solid and don’t have the slightest bit of movement. All 4 are new to me.

Seems to be a fair bit of MFG difference, which for a $500 product is absurd... but it is Wilcox.
